Low cost recorder fits in the hand
Latest data recorder is so compact it will fit in the palm of a hand and has signal conditioners and 16-bit A-D converters to digitally record dynamic strain and voltage signals at high speeds
Sensors UK announce the latest addition to the Kyowa range of data recorders and sensor interface equipment - the EDS-450A - so compact it will fit in the palm of your hand The 4 channel EDS-450A is equipped with signal conditioners and 16-bit A-D converters to digitally record dynamic strain and voltage signals at high sampling speeds, up to 100kHz to a CF memory card

The MICRA-F will not only measure rotational or linear speed, but detect and memorise the maximum (or minimum) value reached.
The EDS-450A operates on 10~16V DC so that stand-alone field operation is a major advantage.
For additional channels the EDS-400A can connect eight units, in cascade, for 32 channel simultaneous measurements.
Applications for the EDS-450A are wide and varied within the automobile testing industry, R and D, and for general strain, temperature or frequency measurement.
These demand a compact fast recorder which can be operated from a motor cycle, car or other moving vehicle, just as easily as from an office or laboratory.
