Attachments eliminate machining problems

1- Elimination of broaching operation for an "American" customer.

We have recently supplied two attachments that generated at 1:1" wide slot in the end of a part on a multispindle automatic, which eliminated the total cost of a secondary broaching operation.

2 - Generation of two square features in a 45 deg relationship to each other 1.l/2in apart.

12mm bar at 1000 rev/min spindle speed and 2000 rev/min attachment speed.

For a "British" customer.

3 - Production of Acme threads with severe helix angles, which cannot be accommodated by normal thread milling attachments.

4 - The company is testing a new gear generating attachment, which will produce gears on turned parts as part of the first operation.

To the company's knowledge this has never been done before.

5 - GSN produces an attachment to generate all enveloping worms with no reduction in normal cutting speeds on multi-spindles.
