Colleagues at GSPK Electronics are celebrating their recent accomplishments in gaining NVQ level 3 qualifications at a special awards ceremony at their premises at GSPK Technology Park.

Colleagues at Knaresborough based GSPK Electronics are celebrating their recent accomplishments in gaining NVQ level 3 qualifications at a special awards ceremony at their premises at GSPK Technology Park.

One of the company's missions is to create a secure and stimulating environment for all colleagues, and one of the ways they do this is by supporting their workforce in enhancing their skills set.

At GSPK Electronics they believe that investing in the futures of their colleagues will enhance the quality of service for their customers.

This investment is not only limited to its people but also to new machinery and manufacturing techniques.

The company are dedicated to reviewing each of their colleagues training needs through initial assessments and regular company appraisals from which training schedules are identified and implemented.

The achievers photographed have achieved NVQ level 3 and have been working towards their qualifications for the past 18 months.

They receive the award from Ken Caines, their representative from Virtual College.

Further colleagues begin NVQ level 2 and 3 this autumn.

Caines said: "The portfolios produced by these candidates at GSPK has been of a very high standard and has exceeded all the standards required by the awarding body." Anne Quinn, human resources manager for GSPK Electronics said: "We at GSPK offer a developmental opportunity for all of our colleagues to pursue NVQ accreditation at the appropriate level.
