Knaresborough based GSPK Electronics have responded to an upsurge in the electronics market by extending their New Business Department to help develop business opportunities across varying sectors.

Kevin Heath has been appointed to work alongside Jane Johnson as a New Business Manager to complement new initiatives and to strengthen the existing Business Leader team.

Kevin, a sales professional with over 30 years experience in the "high technology" manufacturing sector started his career as an indentured engineering apprentice progressing through to Quality Management, Sales Management and Sales Director positions.

He has worked for companies such as GEC, Microtech, Atotech, Celestica and more latterly Sanmina - SCI a $14 Billion T/O CEM.

Over the years, Kevin has built up considerable experience within Contract Manufacturing and Printed Circuit Board manufacturing and has excellent relationships throughout the industry.

He is a seasoned man manager with an excellent track record in new business sales.

His sales skills are underpinned by in depth knowledge and technical understanding of manufacturing processes.

One of Kevin's main focuses will be to identify ways of accelerating the new business process.

Kevin's appointment is set to bring increased added value to the products and services currently supplied, driving a customer focused approach to business.

In expanding the business, Kevin will also endeavour to identify and research niche market segments for the production of low to medium full turnkey products.
