Complex, multi-layer count PCBs

A GTK product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 28, 2007

GTK has formed a partnership with a manufacturer of complex, multi-layer count PCBs in China, so that the company can now deliver prototype and evaluation samples within 7 to 10 working days.

Interconnect and component manufacturer GTK has formed a strategic partnership with one of China's largest manufacturers of complex, multi-layer count PCBs, meaning that the company can now deliver prototype and evaluation samples within seven to ten working days and production quantities within three to four weeks.

Explains Marketing director, John Morath: "Industry has suffered leadtime and quality problems with the supply of bare boards.

Our ability to deliver complex, multilayer boards (up to eight layers), coupled with our reputation for price and efficiency means that customers can rely on us to provide PCBs consistently on very quick turn-around times." PCBs are available with up to eight layers and featuring buried and blind vias, microvias and high density interconnect constructions.

Boards are offered in sizes up to 500 x 3000mm with thickness range of 0.2 to 3.2mm and both minimum track and spacing width of 4mil.

Various base materials are used, including FR-4, CEM-3 and high Tg FR-4 and available surface finishes include immersion gold, silver and tin, HAL and OSP.
