IT solution provider, toolmakers, join GTMA

IT solution provider and two toolmaking companies have joined up with the Gauge and Tool makers' Association.

GTMA is delighted to welcome into membership three companies situated in locations across the UK.

Most Northerly is Glasgow-based, Berkeley Myles Solutions, provider of IT solutions for manufacturing companies since 1996.

The company offers integrated software designed specifically for manufacturers who make to customer order and which is ideal for environments containing a mix of repeat and one off jobs.

The two new toolmaking members is located at the opposite end of the UK; in Petersfield, Hampshire, Sermo TP UK, is part of international French toolmakers, Sermo Groupe.

Thirdly, Accura Tool Co., mould tool manufacturers, are situated in Rye, East Sussex.

Established in 1957, Accura is a family run business supplying the rubber industry with mould tools for world leading companies in the telecommunications, automotive, pharmaceutical and electrical industries.

Managing director, Tom Hookey, explained his reasons for joining the GTMA, "The association is doing so much to raise the profile of the industry, particularly with the Government, that I felt we should support it.

The GTMA web portal is another major advantage to us, giving added credibility with prospects and customers.".
