Five more firms have joined the GTMA, including the first GTMA member from Northern Ireland

Five more firms have beaten a path to the GTMA's door in Princes Risborough - the latest recruits representing businesses across the UK, from Northern Ireland to Scotland and from Cambridge to West Yorkshire GTMA director, Julia Moore, comments, "We are delighted to welcome five such first class companies into membership

Having spoken to many people in the industry recently, I know that they, in common with our existing members, are keen to promote the high-skill, high-tech environment which is the reality of our sector now; where investment in the latest technology is giving UK manufacturing a real competitive edge." The five new GTMA members are: Denroy Plastics Limited is breaking new ground as the first GTMA member in Northern Ireland.

Denroy specialises in the design and manufacture of custom moulded products and operates a well equipped, in-house design centre and tool-room which enables its technical designers to work quickly and accurately developing high specification designs for new products.

Anderside Tools., based in Glasgow, employs 25 people in a company that has been successfully supplying customers across the UK for just over 20 years.

However, far from resting on its laurels, Anderside has continued to develop and now specialises in consumer electronics, domestic appliances and work for the military.

Hampshire-based Jordans Toolmakers Limited has a philosophy of working in partnership with customers, not just through the manufacturing process, but through the life of the tool itself.

To ensure continual tooling performance the company offers a responsive preventative maintenance and breakdown repair facility.

When a design concept is developed it invariably has to be prototyped to prove functionality.

Rapid Moulding Technologies in Cambridge offers its customers the opportunity to trial moulding designs quickly and economically with its Rapid Tooling Service, providing real mouldings in production intent material.

Kelland Precision Tooling, in West Yorkshire, specialises in EDM work and tooling for the plastics industry.

The company prides itself in providing the highest level of personal service to its customers around the country.

Managing director, Alan Noon, explained his motivation for joining the GTMA, "Our customers are increasingly keen that their suppliers are members of the appropriate trade association, highly valuing the credibility that such membership brings.".
