GTMA appoints engineering technologist
GTMA has appointed honours graduate Scott Phillips as an engineering technologist to develop a new technical information resource to interpret and disseminate research information.
Honours graduate Scott Phillips (23) from Brunel University, has joined GTMA for a two-year appointment as an Engineering Technologist on a DTI supported Knowledge Transfer Programme During this time Scott will be undertaking a project to develop a new technical information resource, enabling GTMA to interpret and disseminate new research information to its members, as well as tracking technological developments in the sector and identifying gaps in current technical requirements

Phillips, who has been interested in engineering since the age of 16, attained his BSc Hons in Engineering with Management in 2004, having written a dissertation on process improvement based on his experience at Kodak, where he spent 15 months of his four year degree course.
In his spare time Scott is a keen mountain biker and has also completed the three peaks challenge in under 24 hours as a charity fund-raising activity.
