IT solution provider and two toolmaking companies have joined up with the Gauge and Tool makers' Association.
Over 61,000 unique visitors have visited the site in the last twelve months (over 1.5million "hits") and of these the vast majority visits the Buyers Guide search facility to look at member company information.
Visitor satisfaction with search results is demonstrated by the fact that more than 25% of visitors subsequently add the site to their list of favourites.
The website also ranks highly in response to queries on specific products or services offered by members - for example it is first on both Google and Yahoo for "fly press tooling" while for "screw gauge" it is 3rd on Yahoo and 4th on Google.
CEO Julia Moore commented; "It is the aim of GTMA to keep the site on the first page of results for the maximum number of members' products and services".
