Gudel UK continues to strengthen its senior sales and customer support team with the appointment of Mark Howlett as its area sales manager for the North of the UK.
Coventry-based systems integration specialist, Gudel UK continues to strengthen its senior sales and customer support team with the appointment of Mark Howlett as its area sales manager for the North of the UK With more than 15 years sales and applications engineering experience within the machine tool, automotive, pharmaceuticals and motion control systems sectors, Howlett joins Gudel with key responsibilities for developing sales of the company's automation and work handling solutions at both existing and new accounts

He subsequently took up his first sales role with Bradford Cylinders, where he was responsible for managing key UK and overseas accounts, as well as business development for the company's hydraulic and pneumatic rotary and linear actuators.
In 1999, he moved to leading bearing and linear motion equipment producer THK as Senior Sales Engineer.
Within five years he had increased his territory sales by more than 900% and in 2004, was appointed UK sales manager for Leeds-based anti-corrosive coatings specialist Corrocoat, responsible for an eleven-strong salesforce.
Single and currently living in Oakworth, West Yorkshire, Howlett lists mountain biking, swimming and squash among his leisure activities.
