An existing range of tool holders, clamping systems and accessories introduced at EMO include MQL clamping sets based on the four-point clamping technology.
Guhring has recently also completely revised the GM 300 programme including tool holders, clamping systems and accessories and is presented these innovations at the international fair in Hanover for the first time.
As well as rounding off the range with several special dimensions, GM 300 includes the following innovations: * New MQL components - as the pace setter in the development of tools for MQL applicatons, Guhring has also revised the range of tool holders and clamping systems for the MQL technology.
With immediate effect, the new GM 300 program also includes MQL clamping sets based on the four-point clamping technology, MQL retention screws for adaptors (in front), MQL length setting screws as well as MQL coolant delivery sets with pressed-in stainless steel pipe for a MQL suitable coolant delivery.
Furthermore, many other products can be modified for MQL applications with appropriate accessories.
* GM 300 program extended with ISO taper to DIN 69871 and MAS BT to JIS B 6339 - Guhring has included ISO taper and MAS BT tool holders to DIN 69871 or JIS B 6339 respectively in the GM 300 range of hydraulic chucks, collet holders, shrink fit chucks and side lock holders form E 'whistle notch' as well as form B 'Weldon'.
With immediate effect, ISO taper side lock holders form B 'Weldon' with peripheral cooling are available for improved chip evacuation and improved tool life.
* New shrink fit systems GISS 4000, GISS 2500 and GISS 5000 - Guhring's shrink fit system GISS 4000 with a maximum setting dimension of 750mm is especially designed for the shrink fitting of long tools.
In addition, the system is especially suited for the application with shrink fit chucks.
It offers automatic length adjustment, integrated PC and GISS management software based on GISS 3000.
GISS 2500 and GISS 5000 combine the functions measuring, presetting and shrink fitting in one system.
With GISS 2500 length presetting is manual via adaptor, GISS 5000 offers the possibility of fully-automatic cutting edge recognition and length presetting with highest accuracy.
In addition to the well-known and fully equipped GISS 2000 COMFORT, the models GISS 2000 ECO PLUS with speed-cooler and cooling adaptor and the entry level version GISS 2000 ECO without speed-cooler will be available immediately after EMO.
