Metal cutting tools have novel
adjustment
Precision inserted drilling, turning, milling and fine boring tools incorporating 'unique' adjustment systems will be shown at MACH 2008 as well as an expanded milling cutter programme.
Visitors to the UK's MACH 2008 machine tool exhibition can receive information regarding the future of rotary cutting tools on the Guhring stand For Guhring this doesn't just mean innovative tooling solutions, but also providing a service from the tool development in Guhring's own RandD, to customer specific tool management projects by the service division

Solid carbide cutters tap holes in steels
Among a wide selection of drills, taps, milling cutters and toolholders, Guhring introduced aolid carbide taps for threading steel and a PCD insert face-mill for non-ferrous alloys.
PCD inserts feature high speed face-mill
For the economical high speed machining of non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, aluminium-alloys and copper, a range of face-mills holds three to 20 PCD inserts.
Innovations and highlights on the Guhring stand cover the following tools, technologies and services:.
* Hollfelder-Guhring range of precision inserted drilling, turning, milling and fine boring tools incorporating 'unique' adjustment systems.
* Expanded milling cutter programme, including the unequalled Helix range (RF100) for optimum production milling in a wide range of materials.
* Extended thread cutting tool programme, including taps for the machining of high tensile as well as hardened steels and new tapping chucks.
* New solid carbide reamers HR 500 with the performance level of cermet reamers as standard tools within the scope of Guhring's ExclusiveLine.
* Spiral-flute deep hole drills RT 100 T for the highly efficient production of holes up to 30 x D with an extended ex-stock range as part of Guhring's ExclusiveLine.
* Extended SuperLine programme, now also including fluteless taps as well as reamers and numerous new thread cutting tools and milling tools.
* Comprehensive service programme from tool logistics to tailor-made tool management service.
In addition, Guhring is naturally presenting the well known tool range and in particular a multitude of intelligent tooling solutions for customer specific applications at MACH 2008 in Birmingham.
