blades

Speedy removal of weld blue and scale from newly joined areas of band saw blades to provide a completely clean cosmetic surface finish is now simple using the Guyson Sawmaster grit blasting cabinet

The speedy removal of weld blue and scale from newly joined areas of band saw blades to provide a completely clean cosmetic surface finish is now a simple operation using the new purpose built Guyson Sawmaster grit blasting cabinet Saw blades of varying lengths are fed horizontally through a narrow front access opening across the full width of the cabinet and moved laterally into position along guides before being clamped in position between two blast guns situated above and below the blade

The operator carefully controls blast-cleaning operations as cosmetic finishing of both sides of the welded area of each blade is carried out simultaneously.

Throughput rates of up to 100 strips per day can be achieved.

Additional benefits include partial shot peening and work hardening. Request a free brochure from Guyson International ...
