Carousel system put into ORBIT
A new carousel system has been built into the Guyson 'ORBIT' range of compact, stand-alone aqueous washers, primarily to assist cellular manufacturing operations.
A new carousel system has been built into the Guyson 'ORBIT' range of compact, stand-alone aqueous washers, primarily to assist cellular manufacturing operations The typical rotary basket has been replaced by a jigged, rotary indexing table and the usual hinged stainless steel lift-top lid has been restyled to provide separate washing and drying compartments in addition to a safe and ergonomically designed front loading and unloading station from which an operator can build up a continuous flow of individually washed and dried components at rates of up to 120 per hour

Complex shaped components, measuring up to 250mm by 150mm by 150mm, are placed one at a time on to one of eight fixtures equidistantly positioned around the table and indexed through a sequence of two hot-wash stations, each equipped with powerful, high impact, flat fan spray jets operating around and beneath each part.
Following the second wash the component drains off during its first pause in the drying chamber before being indexed into the drying station.
Here up to 15 flat fan, high impact, compressed air jets, strategically positioned, air wash dry even the most difficult to reach areas before it is finally moved to the off load position.
To suit JIT manufacturing and to provide greater flexibility interchangeable 'part-dedicated' tables are included in the options together with a continuous rotating table facility. Request a free brochure from Guyson International ...
