Guyson appoints International Business Manager

Guyson International has strengthened its sales and business development capability with the appointment of Richard Standing to the position of International Business Development Manager.

Component blast finishing, aqueous washing and drying equipment specialist Guyson International has strengthened its sales and business development capability with the appointment of 39 year old Richard Standing to the position of International Business Development Manager.

Richard has moved from the position of Applications Marketing Manager within Guyson and prior to that international positions within automotive tier 1 companies.

With responsibility for existing and new global accounts, Richard will be focusing on the benefits offered by Guyson technology particularly cellular blast and wash systems.

Having spent several years implementing lean manufacturing he is quite clear about the benefits of the Guyson range of equipment can bring to customers.

"The Guyson Cellmate 200 return-to-operator tunnel washer, for example, provides high specification cleaning results in a machine footprint size that fits right into the smallest machining area.

The Cellmate facilitates the potential for only one operator in the machining cell producing a ready to pack component, thus offering great productivity improvements." The focus of Guyson on cellular wash and blast is providing real benefits to customers implementing lean manufacturing techniques.

Recent successes for Guyson have seen orders coming from the worlds two largest automotive tier 1 suppliers, Delphi Automotive and Visteon Automotive.

Both companies have specified Guyson as their cellular wash systems supplier at their new factories in Hungary.

The appointment marks an important step for Guyson International.

The pulling together of the combined resources of its technical centres in the UK, USA and France with its network of European distributors to support the global expansion plans of it's existing customers.
