Loading devices ease shot blast machine work

A Guyson International product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jun 22, 2005

Side loaders attached to the cabinet and fitted with heavy duty rollers or cantilevered side loaders on shot blasting machines help ease operators' tasks in foundries and raise productivity.

Foundries and mould cleaning workshops seeking increased productivity through ease of operator load and unload operations will benefit from choosing Guyson International blast equipment.

Numerous heavy component handling options are available with the extensive Guyson Euroblast range of cabinets.

Offered are typical side loaders attached to the cabinet and fitted with heavy duty rollers or cantilevered side loaders enabling heavy or bulky components such as large moulds, to be slid effortlessly into position: in the centre of a turntable for instance.

There are also side load options that allow continuous travel on a roller bed all the way into the cabinet; the component then travels back out the same side or passes through the cabinet and exits on the other side.

Very heavy or bulky components may also be winched into the blast chamber via a roof slot allowing hoist chains to deliver components directly into the centre of the cabinet.

Also as an option is the turntable itself travelling in and out of the cabinet on a rail track, mounted on the heavy duty side loader frame.
