Quality cleaning for metal worked components
Metal-worked aluminium components are literally singled out for individual treatment by a new, aqueous based, three stage, wash rinse and dry system from Guyson International.
Machine configurations can include: revolving table - tumble belt - overhead (hanger) conveyor - roller conveyor, flat belt conveyor, and other work transport systems.
Operation of wheel blast equipment is straight forward and does not necessitate special training.
In fact one of the major advantages of Guyson 'airless' systems are their low operating costs.
Manpower savings alone have been reported to be a major contributory factor in reducing the payback period of the capital cost of the machine.
The actual blast cleaning or shot peening process of the machines is extremely easy and economical and is conducted completely automatically.
No compressed air is required and since all machine operations are totally enclosed, losses of cleaning media are negligible.
These features build up to represent an excellent example of energy, time and labour saving technique.
In operation, workloads are initially introduced into the blasting machine.
Then one or more rapidly rotating centrifugal wheels bombard each workload with large amounts of blast media producing a vast number of individual impact points.
The media can be steel, stainless steel, chilled cast iron, non-ferrous metals, ceramic beads, plastics, and others and it is selected in strict conjunction with the application and the required results.
Guyson specialists are available to assist customers to choose the proper media material, shape, size, and velocity.
Prospective user of Guyson manual or automated blast systems are encouraged to submit sample components for free feasibility testing to the companies extensive development workshop at Skipton, England. Request a free brochure from Guyson International ...
