Guyson delivers blast cleaning cabinet

Guyson has announced the Select variable-height blast cleaning cabinet, for improved operator comfort and production efficiency.

Ideal for multi-operator workshops and production sites, the cabinet's height is adjustable electrically or manually to suit the optimum operator position.

The electrical version allows a 300mm range of vertical adjustment, while the manual hydraulic option offers 158mm of travel.

Blast cabinet operators of differing heights can now adopt a completely relaxed standing position and avoid the discomfort caused by crouching or overreaching.

They can personally select their most comfortable height for arm access, viewing position and foot pedal location via the floating pedal.

The Select's adjustable height facility creates a more tailored standing position for the operator, which helps to reduce fatigue, allowing longer working sessions leading to increased productivity.

Numerous options are available to tailor the standard product to specific work environments; optional armrests fitted to enlarged armholes equipped with extra-large gauntlets can allow greater manoeuvrability of blast gun and components inside the blast chamber.

Components can be rotated under the blast stream from a model 400 or 900 gun on an optional turntable.

Also optional is flip-top lighting above the viewing window, to reduce glare and shadows, beneficial if detailed viewing of the component surface is critical.

A 'cat flap' option can also be added to any cabinet for loading and unloading of smaller components, without the need to open the larger doors, eliminating the possibility of work floor contamination with blast media.

The Guyson Select is available in two size options, Select 4 and Select 6, with internal cabinet dimensions of (W x D x H) 80 x 54 x 71.5 and 105 x 74 x 88cm respectively.

Suction- and pressure-fed options are available for both sizes, and all systems come complete with a matched efficient dust collector.
