Guyson unveils C400 dust collector

A Guyson product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 2, 2009

Guyson International, a supplier of dust collection and media separation equipment, has introduced the model C400 dust collector.

Constant daily use of old dust collectors, often coupled with increases in production hours and sometimes a rise in volumes of dust to process that was never expected when the operation was specified, can eventually take its toll on the equipment.

As a result, old dust collectors can be underpowered, require constant attention, be difficult and time consuming to maintain and often involve fiddly and dirty work changing each of the individual filter bags.

With the installation of a new Guyson dust collector, customers maybe able to increase their overall productivity, thus saving time and money.

The C400 model achieves a filter area of 10m2, with a new micronic polyester filter cartridge, rather than the older-style pleated paper or cloth bag filter, and is equipped for continuous running with a manual reverse compressed-air pulse filter cleaning system to keep the cartridge clean of dust cake.

The company also assists its blast cabinet customers to improve their blast operation efficiency by upgrading their dust collectors while retaining their existing blast cabinets.
