Double row connectors in tape and reel packaging

High-reliability connector maker, Harwin, has released the M402 series of surface mount, 0.5mm pitch connectors in male or female configuration.

Supplied taped and reeled, the M402 0.5mm SMT Double Row connector range is available configured from 10 through to 100 terminations with RoHS compliant gold or tin finish, phosphor bronze contact material and high temperature UL94V-0 thermoplastics housing.

Available with a selection of board to board stacking heights, the M402 features 50Vac and 0.5A max ratings, contact resistance of 50mohm max and model-dependent insulation resistance to 1000Mohm.

500 operations durability at insertion force of 0.9N per contact max and 0.1N min withdrawal force is complemented by solder heat resistance of 260 deg C for 10s, and solderability of 235 deg C for 5s.
