Hardinge CEO opens Leicester milling HQ
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hardinge, J Patrick Ervin, came to Leicester, UK, to declare the Global Headquarters for Milling - officially open for business.

"For the UK, it must be one of the most exciting pieces of news to come out of the machine tool industry for years," he added.
The growth strategy for the Hardinge Group started about a decade ago and has been driven by Ervin.
The Hardinge-Bridgeport acquisition is the most recent to join Kellenberger and Hauser Tripet Tschudin, both grinding specialists from Switzerland, Hardinge in Germany and Hardinge Machine Tools of Exeter, UK.
Each company has prospered from investment by Hardinge in the brand and full support from a company that is profitable and dedicated to the machine tool business.
The Hardinge Group, the world's largest supplier of NC lathe and lathe workholding systems, has invested heavily in global operations and has more than 950,000ft2 of manufacturing space in the USA, Switzerland, Taiwan and China.
