A Hardinge Machine Tools product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jan 29, 2010

Hardinge will preview the new GD160LP rotary table at the upcoming Westec exhibition.

According to the company, which will be found in Booth 2,018, the GD160LP provides rigidity, speed, accuracy, a low profile and repeatability in an affordable package.

The hardened-steel worm and gear provide long life and continued accuracy, with the double eccentric design offering a fine gear mesh.

The 5C A2-4 spindle allows the customer to use its existing 5C spindle tooling without adaptors.

The clamp/brake system is fast and the clamp release is in milliseconds.

An optional pneumatic collet closer is also available.

Also on display will be the GD210LP rotary table, the 16C rotary system, the Trunnion system with mounted Hardinge collet blocks and the FlexC collet system.

The FlexC system is available in 65mm and 42mm sizes, with adaptation chucks and mounts available for most CNC lathes.

Hardinge FlexC collet heads are completely interchangeable with other systems and are in stock in Elmira, New York.
