No pilot hole is required for any except the very largest tools, and the workpiece cannot "climb" the tool during drilling - eliminating the need for elaborate clamping.

"S" Type BRADRAD drills are used to machine a wide variety of materials, and for many different applications with high quality deburred holes being produced with a minimum of fuss using a bench drill or light pedestal drilling machine.

Special Application Bradrads are available to drill clearance holes for metric conduit fittings.

The BRADRAD SAWBORER has been successfully adopted for opening out the bores of circular saws and can be made to machine the toughest sawblade materials.

"PG" Type BRADRAD drills, used to drill the clearance holes for PG fittings, incorporate a robust centre-drill, which is held in place by a grub screw.

Specialist tools include the BRADRAD PIPETOOL which is designed on the same principles as the PG and can be supplied as a special to drill the clearance or tapping holes for BSP diameters.

BRADRAD products incorporate a round shank for smaller diameters, or a morse taper for larger diameters.

Up to 11 different diameters can be created from one tool.

The drills are easily reground by grinding the flute face.
