Compact 7-way connector handles up to 400V

A Harting product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Sep 10, 2003

A compact 7-way connector module can handle voltages of up to 400V, making it ideally suited for use in industrial 3-phase motor and inverter systems.

The new Han Q7/0 from Harting is a compact 7-way connector module that can handle voltages of up to 400V, making it ideally suited for use in industrial 3-phase motor and inverter systems.

The new connector is a high-density insert for the standard Han 3A housing series, providing a simple plug-in interface for systems rated at up to 3.2 kW.

In 3-phase motor applications, benefits are provided by the additional contacts, which can be used for temperature monitoring or brake functions.

A unique integral coding function means that six different configurations can be achieved without losing contact density.

Cable diameters from 0.14 mm2 to 2.5 mm2 can be terminated with reliable crimp connections.
