Fibre-optic connectors for harsh environments add fibre-optic capability to established range of rugged, compact connector hoods and housings - a cost-effective method of connecting optical fibres.
Fibre-optic connectors for harsh environments The new SC Module from HARTING adds fibre-optic capability to the company's established Han 3A range of rugged, compact connector hoods and housings, providing a cost-effective method of connecting optical fibres in a harsh industrial environment Each module can be fitted with up to four SC fibre-optic contacts, and the tolerances have been optimised to allow the use of multi-mode or single-mode fibres The standard hoods and housings can provide a degree of protection up to IP67, and IP68 can be achieved by using HPR versions
