Trunnion table converts M-C into
five-axis unit
A standalone trunnion table, which can can be interfaced to virtually any CNC control system to convert a CNC Machining Centre into a full 5-axis machine will be shown at an Open Day event.
HAAS Automation will be holding a three day open event at their Midlands Technical Centre in Leicester The days will focus on high speed machining, 5-axis machining, and live tooling
Being demonstrated will be a variety of HAAS vertical and horizontal machining centres and lathes, including the Toolroom Mill and Super Mini Mill.
Making its debut appearance will be the new standalone trunnion table, which can can be interfaced to virtually any CNC control system to convert a CNC Machining Centre into a full 5-axis machine.
