Training courses for PLC and motion control
Hayes Control Systems are offering training courses for Beckhoff products based on TwinCAT IEC61131 software, covering PLC, Motion Control and linking data to third party MS Windows applications.
The built-on unit significantly simplifies the assembly and construction of industrial PC units, reducing the need for wiring, cutting build time and providing easy access for maintenance.
The PC can be simply attached to the rear of a control panel or fixed to a flexible arm support, which can be moved around the work area and positioned to suit the system operator.
Alternatively, a stand base enables the unit to be turned into a table top PC.
The new built-on unit incorporates a PC of the highest performance class.
It is housed in a rugged, IP65 aluminium casing, which has been subjected to extensive thermal and vibration testing to ensure consistent operation in harsh industrial conditions.
Cooling of the unit is supported by cooling ribs in the outer casing wall.
A fan inside the closed housing ensures that the heat is evenly distributed and enables reliable operation at ambient temperatures of up to 45øC.
The built-on PC is fully configured for connection to a slim profile CP7100 control panel with a 10, 12 or 15 inch display.
The panel can be customised to suit each application.
Examples include uses such as a monitor, or when combined with function and PLC special keys, a numeric or alphanumeric keyboard or touchscreen.
For further flexibility, a bus terminal allows connections with hand wheels, potentiometers, switches, signal lamps and other components without additional wiring requirements.
