Hayes Control Systems are offering training courses for Beckhoff products based on TwinCAT IEC61131 software, covering PLC, Motion Control and linking data to third party MS Windows applications.

PC and PLC form a DIN rail unit
With the CX series of Embedded PCs, Beckhoff has combined PC technology and modular I/O level to form a DIN rail unit in the control cabinet.
The amplifiers are supplied with integral EMC filters which ensure easy, problem-free installation, even in sensitive environments, while the unique Beckhoff open fieldbus interface allows straightforward integration with most major fieldbus systems, including Profibus, SERCOS, and Beckhoff's own Lightbus fibre optic system.
The Beckhoff servo motors supplied by Hayes Control Systems are permanent magnet types which use neodymium magnetic material.
They feature low inertia, ensuring fast response times, and they have excellent overload characteristics.
The motors are fitted, as standard, with two-pole hollow-shaft resolvers, and a holding brake may be specified as an option.
The motors have an IP65 protection rating, allowing them to be used in even the most demanding industrial environments, and to ensure reliable operation under all operating conditions, they incorporate temperature sensors in the stator windings.
If, during operation, permitted temperatures are exceeded, the sensors report this information to the servo amplifier via the resolver cable, allowing appropriate remedial action to be taken.
