Multi-channel measuring system is
universal
Two latest versions of a universal digital multi-channel measuring system used for measuring force, displacement and pressure include 4.8kHz and 600 kHz carrier frequency amplifiers.
HBM has launched two new versions - Spider8-01/55 and the Spider8-01/30 - of its Spider8 universal digital multi-channel measuring system The latest versions complement the existing Spider8 with four 4.8 kHz carrier frequency amplifiers and Spider8-30 which includes four 600 kHz carrier frequency amplifiers

The Spider8 is a universal device for measuring force, displacement, pressure and other mechanical quantities using strain gages or inductive transducers in a single housing.
Depending on the configuration, the Spider8 can measure temperatures using thermocouples or PT 100 or DC voltages and DC currents.
Options include up to 16 digital I/Os and a trigger input.
The equipment does not have any switches, potentiometers or jumpers and the Spider8 can be connected to a PC via the printer port or a USB adapter on the USB port.
Each channel has a supply for passive transducers, amplifiers, filters and analogue to digital (A/D) converters.
All A/D converters work synchronously and supply up to 9600 values/s at a resolution of 16 bits per channel.
The equipment is ready to use and is competitively priced compared with alternative measuring systems.
