Amplifier increases press-fit assembly accuracy
A measurement amplifier simplifies two-channel manufacturing and testing processes, such as press-fit monitoring, to ensure greater fitting accuracy.
The lifting device secures the load cell eliminating the influences of other forces that might occur if the tank is tilted or lifted off its carrier.
The module now includes an integral overload stop that restricts the load cell's possible deflection/travel protecting it from mechanical overload.
Other Z6 module design improvements include stay rods with side joints that absorb horizontal forces occurring, for example, in mixer tanks to give readings greater accuracy.
The Z6 module is easy to fit and has a low profile.
The Z6 tank weighing modules have a self-centering pendulum that improves point load applications.
HBM's Z6 tank weighing modules are used in combination with Z6 load cells giving an ideal combination in tank and batching weighers and in process monitoring and level measurement applications.
The Z6B modules is available for nominal loads of 50, 100, 200 and 500kg and includes galvanised and stainless steel versions.
The tank weighing modules have been approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 when used in combination with the ATEX-compliant Z6 series of load cells. Request a free brochure from HBM UK ...
