Amplifier increases press-fit assembly accuracy
A measurement amplifier simplifies two-channel manufacturing and testing processes, such as press-fit monitoring, to ensure greater fitting accuracy.
Measurement consistency improved for torque
Improvements made to torque measurement equipment enable all SG full bridge amplifiers to be used for torque measurement and measurement shafts also benefit from a rotational measuring system.
The ML85B can be used with any MGCplus single-channel amplifier and enables, for example, the ratio of torque to angle of rotation to be monitored.
Any physical quantity such as force, displacement, torque, or angle of rotation can be processed.
Up to nine oblique or rectangular windows are provided for the evaluation process and each window can be evaluated using four different methods: Course of the curve, Fmax, Fmin and Average force value.
The press-fit evaluation plug-in module suits a wide range of different applications.
An amplifier system can be used for various measurement tasks in both test rig and mobile road tests after the ML85B has been replaced with, for example, the CoDeSys-programmable ML70 module or the ML78 multi-channel I/O module.
A total of 64 parameter sets - each with a statistics store - can be quickly used to adapt the press-fit evaluation process to the test piece.
An external PLC can be connected using one or two optional AP75 connection boards with digital I/O, allowing the system to be expanded to 8 or 16 digital I/Os.
The ML85B can be adjusted using the LCD display and control unit on the device or with a computer interface to the PC.
The ML85B is delivered with all necessary software. Request a free brochure from HBM UK ...
