Special solder tabs reduce installation
time
HBM has launched large strain relief solder tabs on its latest generation of strain gages to reduce installation time and to ease the soldering of connecting cables.
HBM has launched large strain relief solder tabs on its latest generation of strain gages to reduce installation time as it is no longer necessary to separately fit solder terminals for strain gages with leads The integrated strain relief soldering points make it easy to solder on the connecting cables while the design prevents force from being applied to the strain gage through the cables

Amplifier increases press-fit assembly accuracy
A measurement amplifier simplifies two-channel manufacturing and testing processes, such as press-fit monitoring, to ensure greater fitting accuracy.
This removes a potential source of measurement error that can happen when the force is transmitted to the strain gage.
In some measurement tests the force can snap off the strain gage leading to further possible inaccuracies.
Vast numbers of strain gages (SGs) are used in experimental stress analysis and in transducer construction demanding different configurations.
To meet this challenge, HBM makes strain gages with a large number of different connection configurations that are easy to handle and easy to connect to the cables. Request a free brochure from HBM UK ...
