Infra red process heaters save on costs

The high efficiency of cost-effective infra red heaters enables machine builders to realise real production cycle time savings.

Hawco Controls has introduced a range of highly efficient, cost-effective infra red heaters that suit a wide range of industrial process control applications.

The heaters are manufactured by CeramicX of Ireland, and Hawco is offers fully engineered, customised heating systems.

Long, medium and short wave Infrared heaters are available using ceramic, quartz and quartz tungsten elements respectively.

Products feature aluminised steel reflector and projector systems and ceramic terminal blocks.

Custom-designed heating platens/ovens are available.

Applications include the following.

* Vacuum thermoforming * Packaging - carton sealing.

* Paint curing in automotive body shops.

* Food warming - to prevent 'Dry Out'.
