The Sensing and Control business of Honeywell has introduced the 26PC SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Series sensor, the first product offering in its 20PC SMT Pressure Sensor family.

The 20PC SMT is the first and only true surface mount pressure sensor.

The 20PC SMT is a low-cost, high value sensing solution for use on printed circuit assemblies.

The 20PC SMT Series supports gage, vacuum gage, differential and wet/wet sensing applications.

Although primarily designed for the medical industry, the 20PC SMT pressure sensor series may be applied in any industry that requires a surface mount pressure sensor.

Based on the long established reliability and accuracy of Honeywell's 26PC pressure sensor, the 26PC SMT offers temperature compensated circuitry in a compact package with true SMT capability.

The sensor's small package size of 10,92mm x 6,10mm x 7,80mm saves critical board space.

Because the 20PC SMT can be picked and placed with other circuit components and withstands reflow temperatures, it significantly reduces installation cost.

The sensor features Wheatstone bridge construction, silicon piezoresistive technology and ratiometric output for proven application flexibility, design simplicity and ease of manufacture.
