Blast cleaner uses less abrasive
A new high-performance blast-cleaning system which greatly reduces abrasive usage in removing thick and difficult coatings, uses the principles of jet engine technology to propel abrasives.
The chamber is 890mm wide x 750mm deep x 760mm high and includes door safety interlocks and a safety window with a protective cover lens.
Working pressure is adjustable between 3 bar and 7 bar, and a wide variety of abrasives can be used.
The dust collector incorporates a synthetic cellulose cartridge with a generous 7m2 surface area.
The cartridge is cleaned by a convenient reverse-pulse system which blows accumulated dust into a collection bin, so it does not need to be removed for cleaning.
The Kit-Cab is available for self-assembly, costing from GBP 1150, of fully built, priced from GBP 1300.
Both models are supported by Hodge Clemco's nationwide after-sales service.
