The Multifeed Short CNC Magazine Barfeed is manufactured in the UK by Hydrafeed and is one of the most popular models on the market.

The barfeed can be fitted to all types of CNC Lathes, and is both a labour free, space saving, and cost-effective method of feeding material that requires machining.

The Multifeed can be supplied with a large range of bolt on devices that no other Barfeed supplier can offer.

These devices further increase the capacity of the Barfeed, and allow customers to enjoy the full benefits of true "lights out" production as follows.

The Multi-Stacker is a device that enables customers to increase the magazine capacity of the Multifeed by up to 10 times standard capacity.

This is done by stacking the bars one on top of the other, and regulating the flow of bars in to the Multifeed's loading area.

The Multi-Stacker can be supplied with new Multifeeds, or retrofitted to existing models.

Another additional extra is the Multifeed Bar Support Unit (BSU), which sits between the lathe and the barfeed, and is effectively an extension of the spindle.

This allows customers to feed bars much longer than the lathe headstock - sometimes up to 1.8m long.

The BSU also comes in a rotating format, whereby the spindle within the BSU engages with the rear of the lathe spindle, and the two rotate at exactly the same speed.

The Multifeed can also be switched in to Shaft Loading mode.

Customers can then feed varied shaft lengths through the Barfeed, simply by switching the option on from the Barfeed's control box.

And the latest addition to the range is the X-Tract CNC Unloader - a device that allows customers to unload machined components from either dual or sub spindle lathes.

When used in conjunction with the Multifeed, the Multi-Stacker, and the BSU, production capability is further increased, and true lights out production is maximized.
