New small horizontal machining centre
launched

Heller Machine Tools will use the MACH 2004 show to launch its new small horizontal machining centre, the MC12 With a pallet size of 400x400x400mm, rapids 50m/min, chip-to-chip time of 3 secs and with a large working envelope it is priced to compete excellently with all of its competitors

The Heller stand will tell the story of the advances that Heller has made from its UK manufacturing base and its ability to provide full engineering packages and superb after sales support for their UK customers.
During the show, Heller will be demonstrating the ways in which it can support customers throughout the development and early stages of a project as well as post installation, and will be showing its turnkey project management and its simultaneous engineering capabilities for example as employed by Triumph Motorcycles.
The new Triumph Rocket III motorcycle will be exhibited on the Heller stand as the successful result of Triumph and Heller working together in all stages from the design through to full turnkey machining cell supply.
Heller's fixture design and manufacturing capability will be on display and the theme will be "Supporting our customers with engineering, project management, top quality equipment and after sales service".
The MC16 horizontal machining centre boats performance levels of chip-to-chip time 1.8 secs, 90m/min rapids, working envelope 630mm x 630mm x 630mm and has an impressive list of options making it the ideal machine for stand alone or system manufacture.
