Cost-effective drives package has high performance

A HepcoMotion product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jun 24, 2003

A publication gives an easy-to-absorb overview of a belt driven linear transmission, its possible drive and axis connections as well as full performance data and dimensions.

In parallel with Hepco developing its linear product range to give designers the widest range of options available, its literature has also become characteristically comprehensive.

The latest publication on Hepco's PDU2 Aluminium Profile Driven Unit is no exception.

Two language versions have been issued, the first in English, French and Dutch, the second in English, German and Spanish.

Both publications keep the word-count to a minimum but have a high pictorial content with extended captioning.

They provide the reader with an easy-to-absorb overview of the basic system, possible drive connections and axis connections as well as full performance data and dimensions.

Since its introduction last year, the Hepco PDU2 belt driven linear transmission has proven to be a popular, high performance and cost-effective package.

Its Herculane wheel technology provides a combination of load capacity, speed and low friction that exceeds that of other similar sized units.

As it is fully compatible with Hepco's MCS Aluminium Frame System, PDU2 has found a particular niche as an element in single and multi-axis machine construction.
