Standard screw jack is ideal for roller systems

A HepcoMotion product story

Standard screw jack system has an exceptional variety of features and options to provide all the elements necessary where the load is uni-direc tional, such as a lifting platform.

The HepcoMotion ZIMM Screw Jack system is a standard product programme with an exceptional variety of features and options to provide all the elements necessary for the design engineer to create the optimum system for the job.

With the launch of the latest generation of this good-looking system earlier this year came many new and innovative components, one of which is the Anti-Backlash AB Screw Jack.

For most applications where the load is uni-directional - such as lifting a platform for example - a standard Screw Jack is ideal.

The natural, axial play in its spindle's trapezoidal thread is not an issue.

However some applications such as roller adjustment do require backlash to be minimal and for this reason the Anti-Backlash AB Screw Jack has been introduced.

This new addition to HepcoMotion ZIMM range was developed specifically for low duty applications where adjustment to play needs to be made under alternating loads.

It is therefore ideal for use in roller systems.

The method of adjustment is by a simple nut that is accessed by removing an aluminium cap.

The Anti-Backlash AB Screw Jack is a simple, cost-effective solution that reduces design, assembly and production time.

The take-up of play on the drive spindle thread can be adjusted to almost zero.
