More options for belt drive family to be shown

Options have been extended for a family of belt driven linear transmission units that now include a larger unit with a 50mm wide belt that increases the load carrying capacity.

'True to form', HepcoMotion will be launching several new products at the forthcoming TEAM Show, reaffirming its status as one of the world's leading innovators in linear motion technology.

Since its launch, the HepcoMotion DLS family of belt driven linear transmission units has proved a very popular addition and now the options have been extended.

Making its first public appearance at TEAM 2004 is the DLS5, a larger unit with a 50mm wide belt that increases the load carrying capacity of the current DLS range.

This development complements the company's other driven options.

It's a similar success story with the HepcoMotion Profile Driven Units (PDU2).

Demand for this product continues to grow and naturally, it too has been subject to development.

At the show, a new double-acting variation of the PDU2 - the DAPDU2 - will be featured.

Inherent in the design is the proven Herculane wheel technology that allows excellent load capacity and durability with quiet operation.

Exceptional performance and choice are provided by the new HepcoMotion HTS Telescopic Ball Bearing Slides being shown for the first time at TEAM.

These high quality slides are quiet, rigid under extended loads and thanks to their superior construction, offer excellent smooth motion and low friction characteristics across the complete travel length.

Five basic types are available in the HTS programme, from Super Slim lightweight and Compact versions through to Heavy Duty, typically carrying loads of 280kg.

Across this range, a large number of design choices are then available dependent on the length of slide travel, suspension and locking characteristics required.

The company is taking its brand new Ball Screw Premiere Series (BSP) to market with its launch at TEAM.

These high quality, short lead-time ballscrews and supports are available in a wide range of off-the-shelf sizes and are very competitively priced.

Other product developments include the latest generation of the HepcoMotion-ZIMM, Screw Jack Building Block System.

This is a product programme that has not just been expanded, it has been completely reviewed to include a higher order of technical innovation.

Its application potential as a result, has substantially increased.

The system is more compact, yet it carries higher loads.

As well as a greater choice of standard Screw Jack body sizes, aluminium, stainless steel, plated or specialist bodies can be specified.

Finally, the new HepcoMotion LBG Linear Ball Guides, in a comprehensive range of sizes, precision grades and pre-load options, complete the exhibits at TEAM 2004, NEC Birmingham, UK, September 28-30, Stand no.
