Whilst such a concept is not unique to Hepco, DMT Wide-Span offers significant benefits over alternatives on the market.

The HepcoMotion DMT includes a comprehensive range of components and guide wheels used to construct anti-friction linear guidance mechanisms.

As its description implies, the Wide-Span concept involves two of the DMT, V-edges being positioned a large distance apart.

Four guide wheels are then mounted onto the track and two of them simply adjusted on eccentric bushes.

In a matter of minutes a broad based, low profile and higher capacity system is installed with the inherent DMT performance benefits of smooth and quiet operation.

Whilst the majority of linear motion systems currently available feature double edge slides, DMT is a single edge track system and is therefore particularly well suited to the wide-span concept.

However, DMT is even quicker and easier to install than its few single-edge competitors as a fitting edge is standard on all DMT tracks.

As a result, the cost of its installation is lower as no preparatory work is required on the mounting surface.

By the same token, DMT is also a far more economical option than ball rail alternatives that require an especially accurate machined base to achieve high performance.

Ideal for short or long lengths, four sizes of tracks are available and cut to the exact length required.

Tracks can be drilled or undrilled and specified in stainless steel to suit the application.

A wide choice of guide wheels and support bushings complete the package.

Wheel cover assemblies to protect against dirt ingress and provide constant lubrication, may also be specified.
