Moving high loads smoothly and
accurately

For many manufacturers, the HepcoMotion Heavy Duty linear motion range is the only method of moving high loads smoothly and accurately, and the choice of options has been extended.

The new products and services being introduced by HepcoMotion at Southern Manufacturing demonstrate the company's lateral thinking in the use of its innovative engineering skills For many manufacturers, the HepcoMotion Heavy Duty linear motion range is the only method of moving high loads smoothly and accurately and now two new systems are set to extend the choice of options

So too will be the MFS Machine Fencing System, an extension to the HepcoMotion MCS Machine Construction System.

Another highlight will be the HepcoMotion Production Process Review Service.

The company's sales team comprises time-served engineers with considerable expertise in production engineering and associated processes.

Their wide applications know-how enables them to look at customers production processes and make proposals as to how the HepcoMotion range will provide tangible benefits which can be identified in terms of cost savings.

Specific health and safety lifting issues can be solved by the use of a HepcoMotion product.

HepcoMotion is introducing this as a free service.

The new HDRT Heavy Duty Ring Slide and Track System is believed to be the only ring system available for arduous linear motion with an ability to support loads up to 40kN.

This new addition combines the flexibility and function of the popular HepcoMotion PRT ring track system with the size and strength of its HDS Heavy Duty Slide System.

All the elements are provided to create curved paths or closed circuits with ease.

In addition to its high capacity the product programme has been designed to include a very large module integral gear providing a highly efficient driving mechanism.

The second newcomer to the Heavy Duty range is the new MHD Maximum Heavy Duty series.

This introduces an additional size to the top end of the range giving the system the capacity to carry exceptional loads that are typical in robot transfer systems.

Supplied as a kit-of-parts, MHD basically comprises two components, a set of blocks each with three large, integral crowned rollers and secondly a pair of flat tracks.

Each block will take a maximum vertical load of 5 tonnes.

The excellent rigidity of the new HepcoMotion MFS Machine Fencing System is provided by elements of the company's proven MCS aluminium profile product range.

A wide choice of components allows the optimum structure to be created in any size and with standard or sliding doors, solid or mesh panels.

MFS provides a highly economical alternative to steel fence constructions and is ideal for use in all areas of the factory but typically around machine installations.

Two further established driven products will also feature at the show.

Finding considerable favour as a highly cost-efficient package that saves both design and build time, the DTS Driven Track System is a complete unit ready to be incorporated into a continuous positioning or dedicated assembly machine.

Carriages are propelled around an oval or rectangular track - with virtually unlimited straight length - driven by pulleys and a timing belt.

The Herculane wheel technology featured on the PDU2 Profile Driven Unit provides a combination of load capacity, speed and low friction that exceeds that of other similar sized units.

As it is fully compatible with Hepco's MCS Aluminium Frame System, PDU2 has found a particular niche as an element in single and multi-axis machine construction.

As well as the company's flagship GV3 universal linear motion system, other highlighted products include the newly extended HepcoMotion-ZIMM Screw Jack Building Block System, Winkel heavy duty bearings for high radial and axial loads and the HepcoMotion range of stand-alone belt conveyors.
