Stand-alone driven units position precisely
Stand-alone driven units are either belt, screw or pneumatically operated covering all applications from low to high load at fast or slow speed and ballscrews are available for precision positioning.
Although MACH 2006 is the first time linear motion specialist HepcoMotion has ever appeared at a true production engineering event it is a market that the company has served for many years.
Indeed with demand for its stand-alone driven systems at an all time high it is the ideal vehicle for the launch of a brand new belt driven system to its range.
This new addition provides the higher level of performance required in automated production.
The HepcoMotion Driven System units are either belt, screw or pneumatically operated covering all applications from low to high load at fast or slow speed.
If precision positioning if required ballscrew drives are available, as are corrosive resistant versions.
An increasingly popular member of this family is the HepcoMotion DTS Driven Track System.
Using the HepcoMotion PRT Precision Ring Slides and Track System as its basis, DTS is a complete unit ready to be incorporated into a continuous positioning or dedicated assembly machine.
MACH 2006 is also the ideal event for HepcoMotion to launch an upgrade to the successful HD product with a new larger beam, slides to suit, and higher capacity bearings.
Targeted at the heavier gantry application the additional components will allow system designers to contract XYZ axes with a combination of different HD parts sized to carry a specific load.
A further development based around the heavier application is the MHD (maximum heavy duty) system that has been designed to transport robots along linear tracks.
Utilising flat track technology and high capacity rollers fitted into cast iron blocks MHD will comfortably deal with loads from 1 tonne to 14 tonnes.
Samples of these developments will be exhibited.
Also on show is the improved MCS Machine Construction System.
This is a comprehensive system of profiles and fixing elements including brackets, flexi connectors and accessories.
It enables complete frames to be constructed by the customer from components or supplied flat-packed for simple re-assembly.
Complete frames can also be supplied.
Reduced material costs, improved flexibility and assembly time savings are the main benefits of this aluminium system over steel alternatives.
Naturally the MCS System is full compatible with the new HepcoMotion MFS Machine Fencing System that is making its exhibition debut at MACH 2006.
Designed to provide a highly economical alternative to steel fence constructions, the new HepcoMotion MFS Machine Fencing System is ideal for use in all areas of the factory but typically around machine installations.
The excellent rigidity of the new HepcoMotion MFS is provided by elements of the company's proven MCS aluminium profile product range.
Vertical posts are available in two sections and secured into foundation blocks with standard T-bolts and nuts.
A heavier duty version of this MCS section provides additional strength for long, unsupported runs, corners, returns and around doorframes.
A wide range of options and accessories allow the system to be tailored to exact requirements.
