Heyn Engineering Solutions provides a comprehensive load testing facility to customers, with on-line access to their Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) certificates.

Companies, who operate materials handling equipment, will already be familiar with the responsibility of upholding effective Health and Safety Regulations The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (or LOLER) promote the safe usage of lifting equipment in the workplace

Lifting equipment means work equipment for lifting or lowering loads and includes items such as cranes, hoists, slings and shackles.

The Regulations cover a wide spectrum of safety measures including: The safe installation and positioning of equipment; Strength and stability;Marking of safe working loads; Supervisions and inspections and Reports and defects.

Accredited with the ISO9002 quality standard, Heyn Engineering Solutions offers a comprehensive load testing facility to customers.

Proof load testing to current Health and Safety standards is carried out by Heyn's team of specialist engineers in factories throughout Ireland.

Heyn is now improving this important service by giving customers on-line access to their LOLER test certificates.

Now customers will not only be able to print off certificates via the internet (subject to inspection validation), but they will also be reminded of their equipment inspection date on a six monthly basis.

Kevin Denvir, Heyn's Engineering Manager, is optimistic about the new on-line service: "Heyn has been developing this unique interactive test certificate service over the past couple of months.

We are confident that customers will benefit from ease of access to load testing information, not only in terms of improved safety measures, but also by reducing the time involved in compiling information and producing reports.

All proof load testing information will now be available at the touch of a button and customer confidentiality is protected by the use of supplied passwords.
