HardwarePT has announced the availability of Advantech's versatile industrial panel PC, the IPPC-7157A.
The model features a 15in XGA TFT LCD, an Intel Pentium D processor (up to 3.2GHz), front USB design with water resistant cover, DDR2 memory bus support (up to 4GB), seven PCI/PCIe expansion slots and a flat-sealed front-panel which provides water resistance for industrial applications.
The aluminium detachable side-open front panel (NEMA4/IP65 compliant) allows easy installation and maintenance.
The model also has a front-accessible USB2.0 port, programmable membrane function keys and touch pad, OSD Control behind the panel and optional analogue resistive touchscreen through USB Interface.
The IPPC-7157A provides multiple standard communication ports (dual Giga LANs and five USB 2.0 ports) allowing connectivity with a variety of peripherals.
Its NEMA4/ P65 front panel makes the model resilient to harsh industrial environments.
