As part of Dutch based Norit Process Technology, Haffmans have an unrivalled reputation for quality and innovation, especially within the brewing industry.

Turbidity affects the shelf life of beers and hence serves as acceptance criteria for consumers.

This turbidity is caused by small particles in the beer such as proteins, yeasts and kieselguhr which scatter light.

The instrument projects light into the prepared sample at 90 and 25 degree angles, and uses a proven light scattering technique to calculate the level of the turbidity.

The Turbidity Meter is the workhorse in today's brewery QC laboratories.

In line with the Mebak recommendations, the VOS ROTA can store up to 999 measurements and ten calibration curves to avoid the influence of different bottles.

The robust housing provides protection for the measuring chamber and shows measurement progress and results on the large screen.

Results can be given in standard measurement units including EBC, FTU, ASBC and Helm.

Using the RS232 connector cable, test data can either be downloaded to a PC running the supplied software, or printed off.

The decision to integrate the Norit Proces Technologie Holding companies within the UK under one roof is part of the Group's corporate strengthening programme.
