Tube manipulation capability for up to
32mm radius
Hiflex Powerbend based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear has extended its tube manipulation capability to include variable radius bending for tube sizes of up to 32mm.
Hiflex Powerbend based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear has extended its tube manipulation capability to include variable radius bending for tube sizes of up to 32mm This addition creates the opportunity for far more design creativity in tube manipulation where we have previously been constrained to using the same bend radius throughout a design
The addition allows the manufacture of tube manipulations with spirals, helixes and crown arches (wishbone shapes) which, combined with Hiflex Powerbend's existing tube laser cutting and fabrication capability offers the designer far more freedom to optimise solutions.
TS16949 approved, Hiflex Powerbend supply hydraulic and structural tube manipulation assemblies to the passenger car, truck, off highway and medical market and are part of Hiflex Europe with sister plants in Salisbury UK and Karlsruhe Germany.
