CNC system combines the latest RISC CPU with high efficiency ASICs and optical servo communications to provide ultra fast, high accuracy machining.

Mitsubishi Electric is redefining the state of the art for CNC technology with the launch of the M700 series, which combines the latest RISC CPU with high efficiency ASICs and optical servo communications to provide ultra fast, high accuracy machining The frontline performance statistics are 135m/min cutting speed with nano-control accuracy and five-axis interpolation which in practical terms means users can get the smoothest finish yet on work pieces

The PLC programming capacity is nine files, to a limit of 42,000steps providing enough space for the most complicated machining profiles to be stored easily.

Ethernet is the standard communications protocol, operating at 10-100Mbps, with other protocols, including fieldbuses such as CC-Link and Devicenet, available as options.

A two-channel architecture provides both flexibility and reliability and connection to other FA, production and management systems is seamless.

Scan time for the M700 is less than half that of comparable controllers.
