Direct manufacturing technology order awarded

CalRAM, USA, has placed an order for an Arcam CAD-to-metals system, which will be used for directly manufacturing high performance titanium parts for the aerospace industry.

Arcam has received an order for an EBM S12T system from CalRAM in California, USA.

The system will be used for Direct Manufacturing of high performance titanium parts for the aerospace industry.

"This order further confirms the interest in our titanium system for the aerospace sector.

CalRAM is a service bureau established for Direct Manufacturing of functional hardware with a wide customer base in aerospace and other industries.

This first service bureau order on the US west coast provides improved access to our unique CAD-to-Metal technology," says Magnus Rene, President of Arcam.
