Wire EDM productivity raised to new heights
Modern wire cut EDM achieves the highest possible productivity through dramatically increased cutting rates up to 500mm3/min and reductions of up to 40% in power consumption.
More than 1,400 people came from all over Europe, Asia and Africa, removing any doubt that the 'Machining Days' are a reference point and international highlight on the Austrian trade-fair calendar.
Emco presented their product range of CNC turning and milling that surprised even the most seasoned of Emco customers and partners with its breadth and quality.
Alongside the well known machines of the EmcoTURN, MaxxTURN and HyperTURN series, customers also had the opportunity to experience Emco's latest developments live at work.

For the first time ever, a Training Day was also held within the context of the Machining Days this year.
More than 300 people attended from the technical training field and used the opportunity to find out about the modular training programme offered by world market leader EMCO.
Of course, they could inspect and try out all the machines and software in the range too.
And the lecture programme also attracted great interest with its top-class list of speakers from the industry and training sectors.
The Emco Machining Days were characterised by a wonderfully relaxed and cooperative atmosphere, which lent the occasion the feel of a large industry get-together.
Visitors clearly enjoyed the impression of not being at a trade fair.
And some of the attendees had a very special reason to celebrate: either as the winner of an "Emco Limited Edition" KTM mountain bike or as the winner of a spectacular helicopter flight in a five-seater, turbine driven Hughes 500.
